Oxford City of Sanctuary Crankstart Internships

Oxford City of Sanctuary is offering two paid Summer Vacation internships for Oxford University students, funded through the Crankstart Widening Participation programme. There will be one Communications Intern and one Advocacy Intern position. Both positions will run for 7 weeks from 28 June 2021 to 20 August 2021. Oxford CofS is located in Cowley, but the positions will be based on remote working/work from home.

Role Descriptions:
1. Communications Intern
The intern will work with CofS colleagues to develop Oxford City of Sanctuary’s Social Media accounts (Facebook and Twitter) and the website. Basic familiarity with WordPress required.
2. Advocacy Intern
The intern will work closely with Oxford CofS registered directors on writing advocacy and campaign material on UK immigration, refugee, Human Rights, and citizenship issues. Applicants should have a strong interest in developing their knowledge of these policy areas.
